This weekend, Brooklyn had two wrestlers qualify for the OHSAA State Wrestling Tournament. Seth Majewski and Andrew Zarins will both return to Columbus for the second time in 2 years. Majewski won the Garfield Heights District tournament at 126lbs with a 9-8 win in the finals over a 2-time returning state placer. Zarins capped off a tough weekend with a 4th place finish at 132lbs. Both will compete at the Jerome Schottenstein at The Ohio State University this Thursday through Saturday to become Brooklyn’s first state placer since Nick Dowe in 2005.
