Brooklyn Varsity baseball team traveled out to Clearview high school today to play a rare Wednesday double header but lost 11-1. The Hurricanes played bend but don’t break defense giving up a few runs the first 4 innings until errors gave way to a five run 5th inning, Tristen Peggs gave up 5 earned runs and had 3 strike outs pitching 4.1 innings. On offense, Brooklyn stuck in the first inning when Tristen Peggs scored the games first run but Clearview held Brooklyn’s bats silent allowing only three base hits by Jared Greene, Brandon Tanski and Aaron Wrost. The Hurricanes could not muster any more runs.
