Brooklyn got outscored 20 – 2 in the first quarter Tuesday night en route to a 53 – 22 blowout loss to Trinity. The 20 first quarter points were a season high allowed by the Hurricanes. Trinity poured in another twenty points in the second quarter, and held a 40 – 7 halftime lead.
Anthony Starr led the ‘Canes with 7, including making both free throws. The loss dropped the Hurricanes to 4 – 6 on the season, with an upcoming game against Cardinal.
