Brooklyn put on a clinic Monday, displaying their best quarter on both ends of the floor, jumping out to a 24 – 2 lead after the 1st quarter. Employing a full-court press, Brooklyn forced Lincoln West into multiple turnovers, which the ‘Canes converted into easy buckets

Seven different Hurricanes scored in the first quarter, including 3-pointers by Gogo Smitivieski, Chavon Holton, and Ryan Cutright. With the game in control, Brooklyn only allowed another 2 points before halftime, for a 30 – 4 lead going into the third quarter.

Brooklyn outscored Lincoln West 42 – 6 through 3 quarters en route to a 44 – 12 victory. When all was said and done, 8 different Hurricanes scored. Ryan Cutright led with 11, followed by 8 from Ray Cogburn and 7 from Alex Chiclana. Chavon Holton and Gogo Smitivieski added 5, Omarion Smith 4, and Nate Wilson and Alex Hernandez 2 each.
